In-service teacher training course development

The Project is a part of ETAG overall development project: ETAG in 2005

Funding Organisations: British Council and USA Embassy

Overall aim:

To provide all ETAG members with opportunities for regular professional development

Specific Objectives

  • to build up a bank of in-service courses for delivery to ETAG members
  • to ensure that at least one new in-service training course is available free of charge to ETAG members every year
  • to recruit and train teams of trainers to deliver these courses

Outcomes (up to November 06)

  • 129 40-hour courses  designed and successfully piloted
  • 65 teachers involved in the development of ETAG courses and now approved to deliver the courses in their final form
